Bombardier Inc (BBD.B-T) said on Monday it signed a nine-year contract worth some 600 million euros ($867 million) to supply Germany's DB Regio AG with 200 diesel locomotives.
Bombardier, the world's largest passenger-train maker and the world's No. 3 aircraft maker, saw its earnings rebound in the last quarter, partly due to a revival in business jet orders after a two-year slump.
The Montreal-based company announced a $255 million deal earlier this month to supply six business jets to an unnamed customer.
