Gibson Energy believes it stands to benefit no matter what happens with the pipelines.
The mid-stream company transports 400,000 barrels of oil per day – including 1,200 trucks on the road daily. President and CEO Stewart Hanlon tells BNN Gibson offers options to oil producers.
“We can truck around a pipeline break for instance," Hanlon says. "We’re also doing a tremendous amount of truck to rail in the Bakken.”
“[We’re] just trying to ensure that barrels get around pipeline bottlenecks and they can get to the appropriate market.”
