Patent licensing company Wi-LAN Inc. (WIN-T) said it agreed to end all litigation with British chipmaker CSR Plc out of court.
CSR will sign a multi-licensing agreement for Wi-LAN's patent portfolio under the deal, Wi-LAN's sixth out-of-court settlement in quick succession.
Financial terms of the agreement, to be signed within the next few weeks, were not disclosed.
Last year, Wi-LAN filed a lawsuit accusing 19 computer and phone companies of infringing a patent by selling laptops and cellular handsets enabled with Bluetooth technology.
On January 27, Wi-LAN reached agreements for both the wireless and enterprise units of Motorola to pay it to use its patent portfolio.
