London Stock Exchange CEO Xavier Rolet criticized Maple Group’s hostile bid for the TMX Group on Thursday, saying it failed to answer questions about regulatory issues. Luc Bertrand, Maple Group’s spokesman, defends the deal against concerns that it would create a monopoly.
