With talk of a pending downturn in residential real estate in Canada, Richard Morin, Portfolio Manager & Chief Operating Officer at Landry Morin Investment Managers, says he's been increasing his client's exposure to Canadian real estate investment trusts.

Morin tells BNN he has been buying the iShares Canadian REIT ETF (XRE-T) for clients. He says the XRE provides investors REIT diversification with one security.
