Tim Hortons announced earlier this month it would open its first U.K. store in the Scottish city of Glasgow in May. New locations will roll out across the country over the next year.

Today, the company is taking to social media to promote the arrival. Tim Hortons is giving away complementary boxes of Timbits in specific locations throughout London, England. For example, the tweet below shows what seems to be a company rep holding a box of Timbits in front of Westminster Station in London encouraging followers to find them.

Another tweet invites followers to Trafalgar Square where the “timbit treasure hunt continues” after the company was there earlier.

Londoners seem to be taking notice as many took to Twitter to express excitement over the free treats.

Tim Hortons' parent company, Restaurant Brands International Inc., first announced plans to open full-service coffee shops in the U.K. last August, after partnering with an investor to establish a master franchise joint venture company.

The company did not initially reveal any details on timing, locations, or the number of stores they would open. However, Tim Hortons said Monday it would have location news “very soon” on its U.K. Twitter account.
