The tech sector is home to some of the top Canadian employers according to Glassdoor’s annual ranking of the best places to work. Glassdoor, the career and management review website, establishes its rankings based on anonymous employee feedback, including opinions on their salary, work-life balance and benefits. Last year’s top ranked employer was Earls Kitchen + Bar. This year, following backlash over a controversial decision to stop serving Canadian beef, the restaurant did not make the top 10 and fell to No. 21 on Glassdoor's list.

Lululemon, RBC and Manulife were other employers that were ranked in the top ten last year, but didn’t cut it this year.
