Bank of England Governor Mark Carney had to take his mind off the Brexit at some point.

Carney was spotted in the Royal Box at the All England Club on Friday alongside Jude Law and his girlfriend Philippa Coan as Canada’s Milos Raonic squared off against All-time Grand Slam wins leader Roger Federer in the Wimbledon semi-finals.

The former Bank of Canada governor was treated to an exceptional display, too, with the sixth-seeded Raonic defeating Federer in five sets to advance to his first career Grand Slam Final.

The victory made Raonic the first Canadian to ever qualify for a Grand Slam tennis Final. The men's Final will take place Sunday at 9am et.

It will be back to business soon enough for Carney. The Bank of England releases its first rate decision since the Brexit vote on July 14.

For Raonic, meanwhile, the win resulted in immediate national sponsorship attention, as his partners were quick to tweet congratulations to the 25-year-old.

Corporate partners New Balance, Canada Goose and AVIVA were just a few to get in on the act.
