On March 7, 1999, Pfizer's Viagra finally (and legally) became available to Canadians after a year of obtaining the little blue pill through grey markets from the United States.
In the 20 months Viagra was available in pharmacies across the country, 1 million prescriptions were written - that's about 50,000 a month.
